Change is never clean.
Something always cracks—
in the world,
in the light,
in us.
Exuvia — from the Latin for “things stripped away.”

And yet, as we outgrow these, skins that we grew so used to, they no longer fit us, if we stay in them, they will end up, suffocating us, so we must, shed, and though the process of shedding isn’t comfortable, that’s something we all have to do, to become a brand new, more mature versions of our own, selves.
