Tidesong

Warm sand
between our toes,
your hand

belongs
in mine, until
our songs

are sung;
our instruments
unstrung.

  1. Don’t breathe a word to anyone else, but this is my fave part of the day–a brief vacation at your blog. I love the poem, always do–and the art. How restful to be at the seashore, holding Love’s hand….sigh….I feel better now ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Yes, very simple but oh, so lovely! Your wife is a lucky lady to inspire such words, and you’re obviously a lucky man to have found somebody who inspires them – long story short ;)… you’re both lucky to have found each other ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. You both are blessed. Stunning. I loved how you wrote it so tenderly. Where I could see you both as best friends too. That’s the way it should be. I have the quote about my kitchen table that says
    “You don’t marry the one you can live with, you marry the one you can’t live without!”

    Your beautiful piece made me think of it.
    Loved this. Lucky lady and lucky lad ๐Ÿ˜‰
